ButtrBase is an infrastructure platform that gives product teams a single SDK for authentication, payments, and growth tooling — everything needed to ship a production SaaS from day one.

Architecture

ButtrBase is a Rust-based backend (Axum + SeaORM) with a SolidJS operator console. It exposes REST APIs consumed by your product frontend via the ButtrBase SDK, available in Rust, TypeScript/Node, Python, and Go.

Key modules

Authentication

Multi-method auth: email OTP, magic links, password, TOTP MFA, passkeys (WebAuthn), and every major social/SSO provider — Google, Microsoft, Apple, GitHub, OIDC, SAML. Configurable per-org: allow only SSO, require MFA, and so on.

Payments

Route checkout sessions to the best payment processor by country. Full lifecycle: subscriptions, payouts, refunds, disputes, webhooks. Supported processors: JPMorgan, Adyen, Razorpay, Stripe (proxy).

Enterprise

SCIM 2.0 user provisioning, org domain verification, step-up auth for sensitive operations, elevation grants, audit-event stream, signing keys, mTLS certificate authority.

Operator console

A React-compatible web UI for managing orgs, apps, credentials, webhook endpoints, secrets vault, and platform-wide settings — no internal tooling required.

Status

ButtrBase is production software. The platform is deployed and serving real traffic. Core auth flows, enterprise SSO, and payment routing are fully tested and covered by an integration test suite.
